Live at the Pulse kicked off for 2011 with a stellar performance by Geelong singer/ songwriter Belinda McArdle and a lesson in improvisation by the Brazilian inspired trio Ozilian.
Belinda's songs and stories resulted in more phone calls to the station than any other Friday night performer and was the highlight of the series. She has promised to return later in the year with a 15 piece choir, so watch this space.

94.7 the Pulse were proud to be a part of the 2011 Matchworks Pako Festa, Australia's biggest celebration of multicultural communities, on Saturday the 26th of February.
Over 100,000 people packed into central West Geelong to dance, eat, perform, sing, laugh and enjoy a beautiful day of harmony. The bright green Pulse bus was situated in the middle of the festival and broadcast highlights, music and interviews all day.
Our team of presenters rotated though the day on location in the bus and back at the studios in central Geelong, eventually broadcasting for over 8 hours.

Kasey Chambers visited the Pulse this week to promote the launch of her new album "Little Bird". She chatted with Gary Dalton and Homespun Country's John Wilson about growing up in the country, performing with her family band, the importance of family and her experience as a Producer for the first time for this album.

The Pulse is looking for artists to put on concerts.
The Pulse is looking for local artists and bands to put on live concerts in the newly renovated Pulse foyer in the future. Your performance could be broadcast live on the Pulse.
Every concert will feature an interview with the artist/group by the hosts of the program to promote and discuss your history and future plans.
It doesn't matter if you're a soloist, duo, trio or nine piece brass band, we want to hear from you! Any type of musician or genre of music will be considered. |
